On the afternoon of April 25, 2025, CITEC and the School of Economics and Management of Changzhou Institute of Technology jointly carried out a series of activities.
First of all, the school and CITEC leadship had a in-depth discussion on how to deepen enterprise and Education Integration furtherly at both sides.
At 2:00pm, the ceremony of hanging plaque for one donated ancient tree was held at Jinghu Lake in Changzhou Institute of Technology campus. CITEC general manager and the head of Changzhou Institute of Technology hung plaque on the donated ancient tree together. It is a more than 200-year old pomegranate tree. CITEC hopes to add historical and cultural heritage to the campus and also call on more people to pay attention to green environmental protection and healthy and sustainable development.
After the ceremony, the 2025 Outstanding Poor Student Scholarship Award Ceremony of the School of Economics and Management was held. This scholarship was established by CITEC in 2024 and is awarded annually to encourage and commend outstanding poor students with good character and academic performance. A total of 20 outstanding students received certificates and bonuses this time.
After the award ceremony, the special lecture "The Path of ESG Practice for Small and Micro Enterprises" kicked off in the college lecture hall. Yang Jingyu, deputy general manager of CITEC, was invited to be the keynote speaker. Combining CITEC's experience in ESG practice, she deeply analyzed the importance of ESG concepts to the development of small and micro enterprises from three dimensions: environmental sustainability, social responsibility fulfillment, and enterprise governance optimization. She also sent a message to the students present, asking them to set up their goals, be positive and optimistic, continue to learn, and put them into practice.
